Yona came to me from Jaye Foucher of Sibersong Sleddogs. When I was informed by Kelly and Kim that Jaye would be repeating the breeding from Ame's litter, I was immediately interested. Little did I know back then that this was fate that would bring me my best leader and foundation dog. Yona is an extremely sweet, cuddly, and laid back dog at home. She has an amazing temperament as she is extremely tolerant of any dog or person and has the patience of a saint, and completely avoids any altercation of any sort, which makes her my ideal dog. Her personality also makes her a wonderful leader for teaching new dogs. She naturally wanted to lead from the first time I had her in harness, and she quickly gained confidence to take control of the team even beside my strongest boys. Yona is now my best leader, she is smart as a whip in various situations and I trust her entirely when shes at the front, and she's impeccable with her commands. Yona's name is from the anime Yona of the Dawn.
